As a reaction against the Swedish book market, which is basically ruled by two giant corporations who control what books we should all read. On last year’s top-20 list of best selling novels, 14 came from Bonnier. REFUSERAD (eng: “rejected”) is a book publishing company for all the writers that have been rejected. REFUSERAD is against the elitism where a little group of people decide which novels are good or bad. REFUSERAD  is a book publishing company by the people, for the people.

 

To start marketing the company I made a series of classical books that have all been rejected. The books are printed in paperback together with a history about the their way through numerous rejections, before they eventually got published.
